What is it like to work with you?

As a therapist my approach tends to be supportive, but I utilize my training to actively help clients work toward resolving issues & to meet goals.  When starting therapy clients will typically see me on a weekly basis, and at a set day and time, but in certain circumstances every other week sessions are also a possibility.  I am happy to work with clients on both short and long term goals, and I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients.  

I welcome my clients to share what is on their minds, and I focus on creating a comfortable and safe environment that helps to build trust.  I understand that sometimes experiences in life may have made it hard to trust others, and some of these experiences may have left us feeling fearful instead of safe. Therapy can provide an opportunity to begin to change these types of relationship patterns to more positive ones.  I feel privileged to support my clients in making positive changes in their lives wherever they feel it is needed.
